URANIUM AND NUCLEAR POWER – WHERE TO FOR QUEENSLAND’S ANTI-NUCLEAR MOVEMENT
A film and discussion forum featuring excerpts from A HARD RAIN.
MAY 14 Monday 6:30 for 7pm
TLC Bldg. 16 Peel Street South Brisbane
Queensland and Australia are at a critical crossroads – The community
must decide whether we are going to go down the nuclear path - or a sustainable
one. Qld has the opportunity to lead the way by refusing to mine uranium,
rejecting nuclear power, and investing in renewable energy technology.
The community is invited to discuss and debate how can we make the
sustainable vision a reality.
About A HARD RAIN: Traversing five countries – China, France, UK, Japan and
Australia, A Hard Rain exposes the hidden agendas behind the latest
push for Australia to go nuclear and presents a compelling—and
frightening—argument against allowing this to happen.
